Hi all,

I have started to render some using the stand alone version, in doing so im trying to understand if there are significant benefits to using the stand alone, either exporting form Poser the scene or starting the scene from scratch.

The test renders i did so far show no difference other than slight speed increase with stand alone, 1 hour in poser = 40 min in stand alone from my renders but that alone dose not seem like a big enough reason to go through the learning curve when i already got a handle on the plug in.

Any thoughts?

The benefit in using Standalone is that you can render vertex motion blur for animated scenes. For single renders stay with the plugin.
