particle simulation with replicators and dynamics does that work?
Renders fine in modo but does not seem to render in octane is this not implemented yet?
If not I just backed myself into a corner
Thanks

There needs to be geometry in the scene in order for Octane to render it - and with particle that might not be the case. Can you sent me a sample scene pls, and I will take a closer look.
Thanks for sending the scene Keith. Answering here in case someone else has this issue....
The current version of the Modo API does not allow accessing particle data from the replicator using the normal means of accessing source points from non-particle items (like meshes). So the plugin does not current support particle sources to replicators.
However - there is potentially a means of accessing particle data - but it will take quite some time to implement, so I will add it to the todo list.
EDIT: Also keep in mind that particles have an 'age', 'size' and 'velocity' at each frame, which Octane has not equivalent of. Modo particles also have a 'position', but no 'direction', so if this were to be implemented, all particles (or source mesh items) would have 0 rotation, and would not change size as per the Modo particle size.
