Subdivision Catmull Clark problem

I am bringing V4 with clothing as an .obj into the Standalone 2.10 and when I apply the Catmull Clark SubD to the .obj in Octane I get the pants doing this.....any ideas?

I've had the same problems and reported it some time ago. The answer was that it is a pixar SubD problem. Nothing the Octane team can do about it.

It's not watertight mesh. Subdiv library can't know that the triangles have common edge if the points are not the same.

Thanks guys, I think the only answer might be is to bring the meshes in separately instead of all together in one .obj. Since they are all separate meshes to begin with.
