I really love your software guys! I purchased Octane standlone+Maya plugin yesterday, never used it before, read through the manuals and spent some time taking my fire ant model that I've been rendering in mental ray and converted it to Octane, after a few hours and a few drinks I got something that - while not perfect - certainly looks as good if not better than the mental ray renders and in much less time! These renders were done with the Maya plug-in (path trace) . I'm very happy so far, certainly not bad for a first try. The Maya plug-in for 2015 is really well done although I'm still learning so I'm sure I'm making some dumb mistakes. Model was originally created in ZBrush with some Mari texturing. I have an animated version that I'm working on.

Welcome to Octane and glad you like the product. The model is very detailed and looks great in your newfound renderer. Judging by your work so far we hope to see some more awesome stuff from you.
Thanks for sharing your work with us. Like how you even captured the caustic effect.
