Displacement map in C4D

Hi guys,

When I try to put an image in the displacement tab in c4d, it doesn't work.
It's impossible also to put some noise or anything different than an image.
Any ideas ?

you cannot directly put textures. first create a "displacement" node and connect texture. it will not work with procedurals. but you can use some C4D shaders, because they are converted to images
