Hi,

I'm using a background object with a C4D material that has a picture on the colour channel and when I'm changing the "Render Buffer Type" from 8 bit to float, the background in no longer visible.

What can I do to fix this?

Floatbuffer does not yet supports this feature. You should mix it in external software

Thank you for the answer.

Is there a way I can use a ground surface as a matte to hold the reflection of the other objects in the scene? (other than in compositing)
I know that you can check the "Matte" attribute for diffuse materials, but this type of material doesn't has reflection and I would like to get that also.

Hi, would the reflection pass help to you?

The reflection pass is great in compositing, but I was wondering if this is possible to get straight from the renderer.
