setting up octane

I really am looking forward to working with program. Its been a long time getting a big enough machine to actually make this work with that WOW factor. i was reading that its a good idea to make sure windows is NOT using the cards to render with,,,however i don't know how to set that up...can some one point me in the right direction,,thanks,,i have 1-780 /3-gig,,,,1-760 /2-gig,,,,asus p9 X79 ws motherboard and a i7 intel-4960.......any and all advise will be listened to,,,thanks popshot1190

stick monitor cable in the card you want windows to use for display, then in Octane options disable this cars so it won't render. You have to figure out which one it is, render some heavy scene with IPR and switch off cards one by one and when viewport navigation stops being sluggish then this card is the display card.
