I suspect the smoothing angle set in the Poser prop is not quite right (try reducing it) - causing the normals to be misaligned, or there is a problem with the geometry of the prop. Also, check to see if adjusting the rayepsilon in the kernel settings.

Ok for fix the prop it was necessary to export it and fixed it with other 3d software,
because the python script "Weld select mesh" dont work fine.
I have use meshmixer for do it and i have fixed it.

Do you use bump and/or displacement?
I get this kind facetting (sp? / facets), when using both together or using a wrongly scaled image map on it.
Seems to be a limitation of Octane.

because the python script "Weld select mesh" dont work fine.
That script just calls the Poser weld command. The Poser weld process can only weld vertices from the same mesh object group - and I suspect the top and side of the bowl are in different polygon group after your import. When you import the OBJ into Poser, there is also an option there to merge vertices - which might help.

No, i have try it but i have the same problem with normal, so the only way and fix the geometry with another 3d software (meshmixer).

The bowl prop is a prop of poser in the primitive folder ... so you can try to render it with your poser.

So i have understand octane can to have problem to render o fix normal on mesh with different curvature. The problem dont happen on sphere o cube.

But now i don't understand because Rounded Edges dont work on mesh fixed

The current Octane implementation of Rounded Edges is geared towards square surfaces, so won't have a good look on the bowl. Instead you could subd.
