Network Render Card Limit?

I remember reading a while back that there was a 12 card limit for network rendering. Though I cannot find that article again. Can anyone confirm / deny this?

yes it is 12gpu, no matter two three or four licences You have.. - 12 is the ceiling for now with network rendering =) thinks it's in EULA..but might be wrong =)
