Hello,
I have some problems with my max memory. I just want to know if this memory (on the picture) is the memory of the graphics cards, or the RAM memory.
I have two TITAN GTX Black with each one 6Gb of memory, and 32Gb of RAM.
So, If the memory on the picture, represent the memory of graphics cards, why it's not 12 Gb (2 Titan Gtx black) ?
or if the memory on the picture, represent the RAM memory? why it's not 32 Gb or 20 Gb if i'm using multiples soft ?
Thank You

Well,
it's gpu memory of course. 6gb x 2 is not 12 in octane math
Because each card has to have all content of scenes.
VRAM is limited by lowest ram of render devices. You can see max 6gb ram. But also OS and other programs takes some VRAM of monitoring gpu. In your sample, free+used is not 6gb because of this. Try to disable first gpu to see full 6gb.

okay I found it. Thanks for the tip, I was wondering what is the render priority in devices ?
And in my scene, with several objects i can't render it in real time, Octane didn't work. Really weird due to my config.
Thnx

Priority is option for decreasing gpu usage. "Low" means that lowest usage. You can see percent of usage in LV.guigui441987 wrote:okay I found it. Thanks for the tip, I was wondering what is the render priority in devices ?

If you have laggy or unresponsible viewport, always check on priority for monitoring gpu. I'm keeping up always. Have you watched my video captures? Octane always is very responsive, and makes immediately updates.
