Engine House VFX latest archviz animation. This was our first live job where we decided to use Octane Render. We didn't provide the 2D animations. It was a great test for Octane (Octane for Max). We rendered the whole thing on 2 gtx780ti cards. Frame times varied, the interior of the warehouse took about an hour per frame, while some of the exterior scenes took only a few seconds. They were a little noisy, but with some fast camera moves and noise reduction it isn't too apparent.

The best thing for us was the ability to quickly see the finished result and tweak material and lighting parameters without relying on post to fix everything.

This project was finished before Octane 2, it would have been great to use some displacement, etc. but we're looking forward to using those features on our next job. After this we've bought another 10 gtx780ti cards and are using Octane on the majority of our jobs from now on.

As someone else who has to try to make the most boring crap on the face of the Earth seem exciting to the target audience (scientist and engineers etc), my hat is off to you sir. This is top-shelf. I love it.

Excellent job! Well done. It's a shame they chose such an insecure and somewhat desperate name for a port though!
