Dear all,

Image

After the physical destruction of one of our buildings we have decided to release all design and production data under a Creative Commons share alike license. The iWeb was designed to be produced using Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) production facilities. To be able to use mass production techniques several program macros and scripts have been developed to convert the 3d models into data that can be used for the CNC production machines. The datasets published on GitHub not only contains the design documentation, but includes the actual production data that was used to manufacture the individual building components. Also included on the GitHub project repository are the program macros / scripts that were used to generate the CNC production data.

We are talking more than 12 years ago, so no Grasshopper, Revit, Digital Project or Generative Components, just straight scripting in Autolisp and Rhino. :D

You can find the models at GitHub in the 3d model folder. Use it in any of your projects for free, or even build a new one 1:1 if you like. The web it is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
