Alright, no problem, my point about the scale was more about quick adjustments while it's rendering. I wasn't making any attempt to critique your position but my thoughts on the region rendering of lightwave native vs octane. I note that I missed a couple of points previous to that so I freely admit to missing the overarching point of the discussion.

Sorry for coming off pretentious, looking aback I'm not sure where I was going with that (I blame a lack of caffeine this morning after my late night work session  ).

Drowsy attempts to make my self look like an idiot aside, My apologies sigmamoon.

Hey Draydin, keep cool 8-)
there are no troubles at all, i just explain my position and we could talk about each point of you for weeks and months but it s really not a dispute, i appriciate ur interest.

but for my request, the lightwave render region "border off" worked on V1.5 octane plugin i would just point out cause i have some impact for a old project

thanks ;)

Ah, no prob I am cool. :D

I was just worried I had stepped over the line (so to speak). I'm glad there are no hard feelings over my blunder

Cheers!

Latest 'daily build' is over month old and almost all discussion and info on upcoming features has died as well, what is going on? :o
OctaneRender is absolutely incredible and it makes using Lightwave even more fun but there are some problems (like displacement only works with UVMap node, not Projection node) and I'm sure it can still develop a lot :)
Also the manual is quite a lot behind, I hope it will be updated soon (and this latest daily build will be made official and then manual updated to match that) :)
Is this the 'official' discussion forum for this plugin, the Newtek forum thread has not updated for long time?

Thank you juanjgon for this amazing plugin, looking forward for new update soon :)

I am going to release this 2.6.x daily build as production build for Windows and Mac this week with the updated docs. Don't worry, I am working in the next release that has some cool new features ;)

Ok, GREAT! No worries :)
I just got used to almost daily news here from you and then suddenly almost nothing so I had to make sure you are ok and this is still the correct thread

But to be honest, I was wondering how you manage to do all development and posting? :o :D

So, thank you VERY much again, I will be eagerly waiting for the new version

Has there been any love lately, in the API, for decimation? Still waiting for it to work with ZBrush maps.

There is a new daily build (2.6.4) available, with only a few minor bugs fixed. This build is going to be released as production build, and all docs are also going to be updated.

See you soon with the next plugin 2.10.x version ;)
