lightbulb glass issue

i have a light bulb model that I am trying to texture and am struggling to get it to look right.
attached is the file. I had a single mesh that made the bulb, and that gave the incorrect look as it made it a single object and thus appear to be a solid piece of glass. This i expected and understand. When I gave the glass thickness however it is still acting as if it is a solid piece of glass.

Hi Zackyd,
try to increase the thickness to 0.05, it should work.

Thank you very much for the response. That did the trick.
Is going under 0.02 some limitation?
