How do I project images in the scene, I want to have an image sequence projected onto wall but also on any other objects that pass in front of the wall.

Try this straight forward method:

- A black pyramid with a tiny octane light inside the top
- the bottom of the pyramid is a specular material with an image in the transmission slot

Here you find another method i have tried but that is muuuuch slower....!!!

Thanks a lot ! I too was trying to make physically accurate projector but with no success. The trick with this simples method is to have a really tiny light so you could get a sharp projection.

Has anyone gotten this to work in Cinema4D with Octane 3? I have tried and tried and I cannot get my projected image to clear up. No matter the light size.
