I'm an illustrator and have been giving Octane some attention to get a feel for it. There are a few tests here:

Something done today ...some photoshop retouching and compositing added as I never leave a 3D image alone.

Thanks guys.....the aspect I love about Octane is how much freedom it gives one to experiment with light. It helps to open up areas which I normally wouldn't attempt to explore in 3D. This is a very creative and satisfying tool.
