It is confusing, but the reason is because Octane doesn't support lens focal length dimensions, and f-stop numbers are really ratios of the focal length and the aperture diameter. And focal lengths aren't supported because Octane doesn't have a camera back system. It's all connected.

It appears that f-stop in the camera settings is functionally the same as exposure. Don't know what the point of including it is, since it doesn't control DoF and doesn't provide anything more than the exposure slider already does.

Does anyone know what units the "Exposure" is in? Doesn't seem to be seconds...
