no, here... I was caught out last week too. Maybe it should be in the render settings rather than in the live viewer dialogue? (or as well as...)

Hey, I'm a bit late, but how do I enable it?
The 'enable particle engine-button' is gone.
The 'enable particle engine-button' is gone.

Now it's done with particles tab in object tag. Put this tag to emitters and it should appear. You can select any geometry for particle rendering.GiantRaven wrote:Hey, I'm a bit late, but how do I enable it?

Hello, I am having some problems creating particles with the C4D emitter and of course Octane Render.
I create the emitter and I add the octane object tag activating geometry in the particle section.
I create a sphere, and 2 different size of capsules.
I drag and drop those objects into the geometry section of the Octane Object tag and I add an octane material to those objects.
I can see all the objects in the live viewer but I cant control them.
If I try to set up the rotations and all the other setting in the Particle section of the emitter, nothing is happening.
It seems the Emitter is only reading those object but it is not controlling them.
If I try to make those object child of the emitter they get modified by emitter setting but they disappear from the live viewer and they disappear in the rendering.
I have been few days reading the Octane Helps but if I have to be honest this section is pretty poor.
Any help is really appreciate.
Thank you
Simona
