Hi,

i just want to play with the integrated Blender plugin and i load one of my old models.
I get weird shadows. I checked for doubles, non manifold, made a new diffuse material but its still there.

I have a scene with similar smooth shading issues in the plugin.

I've never faced this issue.
Aenima, could you share the file?

I can see a few bad triangles too, are you sure this isn't a scale/ray epsilon issue?

Thanks
Chris.

Why would the sky look different too? Maybe in blender you have it as linear response camera?

Because the scene moved a bit. I set by hand the sun position houghly to the same position as in the integrated. I created a new default scene and import the mesh so i get the same issue if i use a "clean" scene. My last idea is something wrong about the subdivision. The meshes imho clean no modeling glitches.

Thanks Chris it was just a different subdivion level of a mesh.

The problem solved. I don know how but the newly created Octane Diffuse material was wrong.
