I was thinking about this lately Radiance. I understand if I'm running 2 470GTXs, the memory will support around 7 million polys, not including non-procedural textures? Will the renderer support some type of progressive subdivision or the like? Say for example I have a base mesh but I have it set at 2 or 3 Sub-D levels in 3ds max. Would it be possible to just import the base mesh and save memory, while letting the engine subdivide it? Perhaps along the lines of tessellation in DX11 or something.
