displacement slow with maxwell based cards

Have the same card and tested in with 2x demo. Is slow drops to 0.2 ms when using intense displacement and more, but not really sure this is a bug. I think it is due to complex computing of lighting and meshes. Like when you load say a million hairs or grass. This also slows engine.

But problem is the speed becomes so slow that its as slow as a kepler card i have that is generally 3 time slower. With displacement they have nearly exact same render speed
Turning off displacement would make the maxwell card 3 times faster again compared to kepler.
So new cards have not been coded to work well with displacements?
