Z Depth Banding

Z-Depth is better by choosing in Buffer paramaters of Octane in render parameters: "Float (Tonemapped)" or "Float Buffer". They are 16/32 bits renders. Of course, for "Float Buffer", it's not tonemapped then you'll need to adjust exposure in Photoshop (or other software).
Anyway, a very little noise in Photoshop (or other software) around 1% will reduce residual banding, even in 16bits...
