what kind of motherboard do you use?
3x GTX Titan - Win7 Pro x64 - Intel i7-3930K - ASUS Rampage IV Formula-X79
Watercooled?
If not, what temperatures you have on the cards?

Octane for 3ds Max v2.21.1 | i7-5930K | 32GB | 1 x GTX Titan Z + 2 x GTX 980 Ti
I am running 4x gtx 580 with temps 75-85 degrees and they are made to get that warm.dive wrote:is that too high?
(watercooling is probably better for longterm and for more pleasant workspace; 'it is getting hot in here')
And I chose a 1500Watt not to take any risk for a few dollars more and for future to be able and swap the 4 gpu for new ones without having to worry for the specs.
About 4 years ago I bought a machine with a little too much of everything and i could enjoy that benefit a few months ago,
when I was able to buy two Titans and just put them in the 'old' machine (for networkrendering).
So my advice is to always go for little more then needed when it is just a few bugs more and/or if you can spend ofcourse.
Greetings,

ArchiCAD25, ofcourse Octane & OR-ArchiCAD plugin (love it)
