Subdivision Level in Picture Viewer

The Subdivision Level settings in the object tag doesn't seem to work in the picture viewer render? Am I missing something? Thanks.

works. But it uses viewport parameter for LV.mate wrote:The Subdivision Level settings in the object tag doesn't seem to work in the picture viewer render? Am I missing something? Thanks.

I don't understand. Where do I set the Subdivision Level for the final render?

hmm, sorry didn't readed well. Understand as hypernurbs's subdivision. I think it doesn't detect changes on this parameter immediatelymate wrote:I don't understand. Where do I set the Subdivision Level for the final render?

If you are trying to subdivide displacement - you will not be able to do that.
Subdivision works with plain geometry, including primitives. To see it renders in the picture viewer as well you need to -
1. In Render Settings - select Octane as your render engine of choice.
2. Set "Resend Only Updated Objects" (preferably in combination with "faster rendering") from the method drop-down in the Octane Renderer Settings.
This should do it.
