1- i hope to add psd layer and also movie support soon. Even support for immediately refreshing the painting textures.
2- Octane has not any light source on manner as tradiational biased renderers. Even arealights are produced by a geometry with some emission node. So currently omni lights are not meaningful for a physical renderer.
3- this is also not a plugin issue or implementation.
4- can you explain this little bit more?
