With the Octane Render standalone version 1.2 I imported and rendered some OBJ meshes which were exported from Poser, and all of them in the view panel showed fuzzy dots instead of objects themselves. I was instructed by the manual and a training video clip. Did I something wrong or should I know more about this kind of rendering? Thanks.

Hi Homerice, It sounds like maybe the camera is far away from your objects and maybe the scale is wrong such the DOF is causing blur (or you just don't have the object in focus).
Try using the Camera view presets (4th icon from the left in the viewport toolbar). This might get the camera in a good spot to view your obj.
There are a couple of other tricks:
1) Use the camera target picker and pick the fuzzy dot so you can zoom straight into it and rotate the camera around it.
2) Use the focus picker and pick the fuzzy dot.
3) Put the camera's aperture to zero to remove all DOF.
4) Change the "OBJ file unit" on import (or click the little spanner in the node inspector when you have the obj selected in the node graph).

Hope that helps

For Poser OBJ files - you will probably need to set the kernel->ray epsilon to 0.00001.
