Hi,

I have been using the Revit plugin placing its window on a second monitor, when I came back the next day the Octane render setup widow wont show anymore on any monitor. Clicking the Octane render Addin button again will state that the window is already open.
I tried re-installing the plugin with no success.
I think this has to do with window positioning so where can I reset this in Revit and/or in the plugin without having to reinstall the whole thing?

Thanks

Hi global,
Not sure why it disappeared so this may not help in your case, but make sure it's not minimised. It minimises into the Revit window somewhere (not the Windows task bar) - typically bottom left of the active Revit window for me. I used to think it's gone until I learned where to look.

Thank you Seeker for your reply, but I have checked for minimized plugin window before I posted this.
You're right though, its a common confusion when you have windows minimized inside Revit and get somehow hidden under other windows.

You can delete "config.xml" as per http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Revit/?page_id=23 to reset the windows.

Thank you Paul, that did fix the problem.
But instead of deleting it completely, I adjusted the values in <SetupX> and <SetupY> nodes to 100.

Cheers,
