Will Octane in the future give support to Shave and Haircut? Right now it's a little cumbersome to switch either the visibility to geometry or to convert to geometry. Switching the visibility mode to geometry I lose any control over the color of the fur. I would love to see this worked in and to be able to take advantage of the parameters set by Shave. The ability to use the root and tip colors as well as opacity.

do you plan to support Shave and Haircut ?
It would be great for lots of productions i think.

Alter could probably get you there quicker.

This has been dormant for a while, but the latest version of Shave and a Haircut is all kinds of GPU-friendly:

I would also like this, but remember that ramp shader is still missing for hair. I do not think that they will add that untill OSL is implemented in 3.x
