Hello
On my workstation I have 1 Titan and 3 780ti.
I placed the Titan as the system's graphic output, but when rendering in octane my memory limit is under 2700mb, indicating that the memory of one or more 780ti is being partially used, so I cannot use the full 3072Mb memory available on the 780ti's.
How can I avoid this? Shouldn't the system use only the memory of the main graphics card, leaving the others free?
Kind regards
Filipe

Leave one gpu not marked - the one you use for the system.

Hi, you have one display connected to the Titan and all other cards are unconnected ?
Then you should have nearly 3 GB for Cycles.
My disconnected card use only 5 MB of it´s ram.
Cheers, mib

Hi, I have two GTX 580 3GB dedicated to render with Octane, and one GTX 480 1.5GB for the screens. The maximum available for the Two GTX 580 is 2880 MB. I think that Octane needs some room to move data and so the amount actually available for a scene is not the total amount of the cards.

Try Switching the display plugs(VGA HDMI DUALDVI ect.) around I changed the output from one video card to the other and it set the total usable memory back to normal. I didn't have that issue with 2.05 maybe its a software thing.
for my own, I noticed this amount difference since the very early versions.
