Hi Guys,

I have six licenses of Octane render. I´m testing it about 1 month and now i need support.

I'm using the octane to a production and I am having serious problems with camera. My plugin maya2octane not catching my camera, the aspect ratio is quite different and my production is stopped. I wish I had some support with this, or that someone could guide me through remote access or see what is happening but I really need this support.

Regards

cough cough... octane and the plugins are in beta. i.e: there are bugs, unfinished features, things can get broken from one version to another and ever evolving by design.
Beta software is not suited for production.

Hope someone will be able to help you but otherwise you'll have to wait for an update and prey that it will fix your problem.

I'm having problems with the script for maya2octane. I open my scene, I start the script "maya2octane" I set the paths, etc.. I choose my camera and hit render. When the scene opens in octane, it does not recognize the resolution of my scene and the aspect ratio is different, I left my gate resolution entitled to see the problem better. Just below is a picture that I posted with the problems and I am also sending a url with my maya scene.

just change your resolution in octane ?
also, you should report this in the maya exporter script forum, so bazuka can answer...

If i change the resolution in octane it doesn´t work too, because the camera doesn´t match with my camera in maya scene.

I will post it in the script forum, i just posted it here because i thought i could get any help.

Thanks

btw i think you need to set the resolution in the maya2octane script, not in your maya renderer's config.
