Proper physical material blends would be useful instead of this % mix.
However I can't tell how much will the devs actually implement from all we asked for.

No Kavorka,i mean using image sequence as texture.kavorka wrote:You mean just saving the image sequence as individual files?blobbybarack wrote:Images sequence as texture !
It's look like some users who use plugins have acces to this feature.
I'm using standealone and alembic workflow, and i"m pretty sure we can't do this right now.
That's in the render animation script.
Or, what do you mean as texture, I may have misunderstood.
Using image sequence or video as image map.
Loading image sequence into a diffuse input of a shader for example.
I give more details about this here http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 80#p195580

Win 8(64) | P9X79-E WS | i7-3930K | 32GB | GTX Titan & GTX 780Ti | SketchUP | Revit | Beta tester for Revit & Sketchup plugins for Octane
would it be possible to add separate roughnesses for refraction and reflection in spec-materials? that would be great!
I suggest creating a new input, output nodes for groups that would allow any type of data, and group of data to go through one single node, like a pipeline, imagine connecting several geometries, textures, floats into a pipeline output, to send it to another node, in the input when connected all of these ports would appear.
