Trying to learn some of Cinema 4d after being on Autodesks platform since Alias Wavefront in the 1990's on an SGI Octane.
It is hard to teach an old dog new tricks. :>)
I am very impressed with Cinema and the plugin for Octane seems very compatible with the 4D base... if only I knew the 4d base better : > ))
Thanks for the forums help ... particularly aoktar who must have the patience of a saint.

I like those.
I think C4D has had very consistent growth over the years and it now seems to be a very good all rounder. I get the impression the Maxon guys are a very committed and focussed team. Also the C4D user base seems huge here on the forums (anybody got stats)? I must try it out out one day.
