Displacement does not work neither with c4d shaders nor textures when they are in Mix Material or in Mix Shader, pure shader/texture only. Is that the way it shall work right now or is it an issue of my machine?
Mixmaterial has own displacement slot, you should use it. Also octane don't supports own shaders. Displacement uses imagetexture only.
If you use c4d's shaders(layer), they will convert to imagetexture first. So it will work. I hope that's clear.
Btw, i like to hear opinions about stability of 2.03. New implementation for c4d shaders, it's not safe for multicores. Some shaders can cause crashes. Please be aware of and regard that
