Hello,

Some can update the test figures with Octane 2.02?
I am interested to compare the results with the 780Ti

Here are my test figures:

Scene: Octane_benchmark.lws (Lightwave):
1 Titan Black: 66s render time. DL Kernel.
2 Titan Black: 33s render time. DL Kernel.
3 Titan Black: 22s render time. DL Kernel.

"Use priority Settings": High

Gigabyte Titan Black GHZ (1176MHz)

Thanks!!

Afaik, your Titan Black should be more or less the same as the 790 Ti as it's more or less the same card, to octane.

That's my understanding anyway.

Gordon probably made typo and wanted to say that TitanBlack is same as 780Ti (in speed nto RAM). 790Ti don't exist, that's been rebranded/renamed into Titan Z (with few slight changes in specs also).

33 seconds using 2x gtx580 and a single gtx590
56 seconds using 2x gtx580
72 seconds using a single gtx590

(not a 780 card but interestingly these 3 legacy cards getting the same speed as 2x titans and these cards cost me $520.00 used)

There should be a dedicated thread for the Lightwave Benchmark scene

I get about 1 minute 30 seconds for the benchmark scene:

Geforce 780 TI Galaxy

The clock speeds on different brands of the 780 TI from what I can tell can differ by around 5-20 seconds. Galaxy isn't too shabby for the $550 I paid for it.

Lewis called it right. I made a type. I also mean 780Ti and Titan black that the same make with neither over clocked etc :)
