So, I have only been using Octane for 2 weeks.
I have Octane version 2.0, and I need to render this man that I've modeled in 3ds max and Maya.
My model, created in 3ds Max with hair from Maya, imported as an obj file, no Alembics. Very good for only 2 weeks of work and experience. ;)

I have checked the hair width in Maya,
A test in Maya to see how the hair creator works. Exported to Octane as too thick.

and I have made sure to modify the hair width in Octane.
WHY is it still too thick?

I have managed to figure out a ton of stuff about this program in a very short time, as you can see with my Model Test guy,
so please forgive my ignorance; but there are virtually NO instructions or tutorials online for how to deal with this issue.

Any advice or links to directions would be GREATLY appreciated, to reiterate, I am still very new to Octane and modeling in general (2 weeks)
