Scaled objects disappear in IPR and render

I use the Lightwave Plugin. When I animate an object in Scale-mode or use (random) scaling inside the Instance Generator, all the objects below/above a scale value of 1.0 won't show in the IPR or render. Is there a way to fix this problem? :?
