I have seen people use Octane to render out panoramics and then use those images to create 360 degree walkthroughs where you can move from room to room. I know the idea and concept behind it and I tried it with some free software, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on software to use that will get it all ready to upload to a webpage?

Very interesting actually. Might incorporate this into Phantom Scatter, would be very handy for architects.

Hi Kavorka. I'd also like to know.

I used Octane with krPano. It is very easy to use.

We are in fact working in automating this on the cloud service, where render power is cheap. We will also offer other types of high end batch render options for orbx uploads. You will see this abd other upcoming features at siggraph.
now that sounds very interesting!Goldorak wrote:We are in fact working in automating this on the cloud service, where render power is cheap. We will also offer other types of high end batch render options for orbx uploads. You will see this abd other upcoming features at siggraph.

One I've seen used before is Panotour Pro. I'd like to try it myself.

www.krpano.com (engine behind panotour).
One can use the same software to make gigapixel 3d renders, both 360 and flat.
