It is called PHOTON. It is in production now, premiere around Q4 2014. Below is the development trailer.
Subtitles in english as Closed Captions.

Biological animations and molecular animations are rendered with Octane render - 1.5 and 2.0.
Octane outperformed vray in molecular renders and stability, so the team switched to octane almost entirely.

The cgi is absolutely amazing. Can't really tell how all this complexity is even done........ and animated......

It is all simulated and rendered on single desktop pc, with octane render and nvidia gtx 580 card.
