Material editor is all black (so is live view) 2.01

Hey everyone!

I'm new to octane (vrayforc4d is what I usually work with)

I have watched several tutorials and decided to buy it.

But when I'm trying it out my material editor shows all black no matter settings.

So is my live view.

Please look at my attachment to so if I've missed something.

Can't wait to get started with octane!

thanks for your purpose,
please check first your gpu's are ok. Settings->Devices tab. you should see gpu names.

I'm not sure, but it doesn't look too good under that tab?

I'm running a Geforce GTX 680 3gb card.

if you check manual you could see my pictures. You have zero gpu can be used for rendering. Possible you don't do my advices for install. Please check again. manual is in zip file


IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTE:
This version requires Nvidia driver 335.xx or newer. Also matching version of Standalone 2.0 is highly recommended.
And remove all old plugin files before installing. Any version conflict or old drivers can cause crashes

I deleted the folder and replaced it with the 2.02 folder from your thread. Now it seems to work!

great, enjoy it. Be sure that you have checked manual and demo scenes.
