Brilliant Rikk!
But I cant't help feeling you've created a younger, somewhat pampered Rust just back from an R&R excursion. Rust without the rust... But the likeness is brilliant. It's just makeup from here on.

Seeker

EDIT: The image below is a photo (I just thought I'd clarify that) where his gritty appearance is a bit more obvious - from here: http://seriable.com/true-detective-end- ... ng-rumors/

Okay Rikk - now you are just showing off. Dang.. We already knew you were a zbrush god. No need to rub it in. ;) So effing close to drop-dead realism. So close... To me, it seems to have just a smidge too much SSS, to where it is almost a little powdery. And maybe just needs spec bumped up... by a pube... so there are just a couple more tiny hot spots. Especially the tip of nose. Feels like it is missing a tiny hot spot there.

"Alright alright alright..."

Freaking awesome Rikk.

The realism is amazing.

The portrait is definitely getting there. Compared to the photo, your model (sometimes) looks like the love child of Matthew McConaughy and a young Jeff Bridges. Interestingly enough, your AO versions look more McConaughy than the final render...

Of course, this is only a peanut-gallery comment. =]

best,
O

Very impressive work. You always have impressive work. I like what you have done thus far and see the point others have brought up about the skin. The close-up shows intricate detail which blends to give the plastic look at normal distance. Thanks for sharing you work with us and continue to share the "Tips from the Mind of Rikk The Gaijin"
