Many thanks ;)
Not long, i have currently found a method to read the input connections from a shader.
With that i can allocate the textures to the right parameter.
eg. texture1 = specular, texture2 = ambient...

That's awesome! Thankyou for the video... a big smile appeared on my very own face when I saw those correct materials :D

I don´t know if the errors come from the obj export.

Uploading now the videos and then, maybe... ;)

The first video is about materials.
I have ever used the Phong shader with differnt settings to become the material i want in Octane.

Glossy:
Is standard and active, if not diffuse und not specular.

Diffuse:
You get a diffuse material, when the specular color is black or the specular decay is <1.

Specular.
First, the index of refraction must ever >1. The scale must >0 and the color shouldn´t black.

Hope you like ;)

The last video is about textures.
They works a little bit different as in Softimage.
I use the color inputs from diffuse, specular, transparency and reflection to get it in Octane.
In conjunction with the material settings above you should get what you want.

Hope you like it too ;)
