I created a “crowd” scene using several planes that had renders of individual people (one person per plane) loaded in the diffuse channel with a matching transparency map loaded in the opacity channel. It worked fine in DAZ Studio, and in fact, worked fine in the Octane Render for DAZ Studio viewport – at first. Then I moved a few of the planes around in Studio and suddenly the planes were showing white in the viewport. Why would it work and then *not* work like that? And now that it’s not, any suggestions on how to fix it..?
Thanks!

LOL…nevermind, I figured this one out, too. Dunno why it worked and then stopped (except maybe it switched to default for some reason?), but the way to fix it is in the Nodegraph Editor. Diffuse = image, the dropdown below that (isn’t labeled) shows the objects in the scene, and you can choose either the .png diffuse file with transparency, or the .jpg transparency map. In that spot, choose the .png. Further down, under opacity is where the .jpg goes.

Did you save your scene?
There's bug(s) in OcDS that unlink random customised materials and replace them with the auto generated ones (often happens to Eyereflection and Cornea on G2F for me), the unlinked materials should still be there, but are now under unused (if you kept the same materials names, you'll see MaterialName (2) as an indication of a custom material that was replaced). Another probably related bug is materials that are applied to surfaces on multiple objects will be split into one per object when you save.

Thanks Siliconaya. I'm having a truckload of trouble with this at the moment, so I'm taking a break from the frustration...will be back at it when my patience level returns to normal...
