Hehe love the Eva on the shelf! Did you model it or where did you get the model?
Nice clean lighting and good use of the DOF, great work!

EDIT: Also spotted the Akira bike! :geek:

Very well done. Congratulations. I like the way you move the camera. Clean renders and good music - great mood.

thanks very much, guys!
As for the Eva / Akira bike, I couldn't help but let my old school anime nerd come through a little!

It was rendered using PT, but I've seen some great results rendered with DL AO, which I bet would be loads faster, if I could get a decent render with it!

For me the "Mirrors edge" menu theme ruins it.
Good memories from the game come to my mind and it's hard to concentrate on the real thing.
I would pick smth else for background music. The game was very popular and that tune is too recognisable. It's like using the title theme from The Terminator movie.
Makes no good for your original 3D work if you ask me.

Hey,
that's a prety fair commment, Suvakas! I think I probably rushed my music decision. It was the first thing I heard that I thought kind of worked, so I went for it... May end up re-considering it, for another more original track. I never actually played the game, so there's no association for me... but definitely good to hear from those in the know!

Oh and to answer a previous question, the Eva / Akira models were just downloaded from Turbosquid, and re-textured!

PS... I love the Terminator theme! Maybe I should give that a try?!? :)

Me too! Go for it ! 8-)
The style of Mirrors edge tune is great for this kind of thing. If you could find smth similar, then I would replace it.

And I forgot to mention, your 3D work is excellent. ;)
