Hello,

what would be the optimal solution for this situation with the current octane c4d plugin (v2)?
I need to have some text painted on the outside part of the bottle, at the same time some liquid inside.

searching the forums I found some example scenes but they dont use glass and trying to adopt that on glass gives me strange results.
any input is most welcome

thanks

I just did a quick test and the method I used was to create a mix material with glass as one layer and a solid flat diffuse as another (in this case black), and then I used a black and white image as a mask between the two. In this example the liquid is just another object with a transparent material.

Ah cool, glad it worked. I did try masking an opacity layer but it always looked a bit transparent. That scene was a very quick test, I'm sure you can do much better!
