Sections?

Hi

Does anyone have any tips for creating section renders?

Right now I:
- draw a rectangle
- explode the whole model
- select all and "Intersect faces"
- delete the half model
- draw section faces
- render

Is there a 'smarter' way of doing this?

Did not use them but it should exists some plugins to do it :
Heard about "Skalp" and "SectionCutFace".
Have a look in Sketchucation Plugins Forum.

Oh yes Pascal, I know of TIGs SectionCutFace (but forgot)

I guess that Octane don't support Sections, so one have to delete half of the model?

Zorro2 used in conjunction will SectionCutFace will delete the unwanted half of the model [in a copy!] so you can render the section-cut in Octane...
