Post effects not rendering but seen in live view

I have tweaked the settings several times. what's your plugin version? are you sure the post effect is not overwrote from tag or octane render settings?

I'm using latest PC win 7 64-bit version (2.0.22). I fixed the problem somehow. I think changing render settings like from 8bit buffer to either float refreshed/updated the renderer. Not sure... but it works now.
I did not have any tags that were overriding... because I could see it during live view... I could make adjustments and it would update... but only when I hit render...
Also, I noticed that if I have different render settings (one for previewing 960x540) and a HiRes settings (1080+), Octane only reads one of the settings and not the active one.

I haven't never checked the behaviour for different render settings. This may be a problem, i'm writing down to my list.

In 2.0 ver there is still a problem with render method setting.
When using "Resend only updated objects" - render looks fine
But with "send all scene data" Camera Imager and Post settings differ in LV and in PictureViewer.
I'll report more details later. I reported this issue some time ago. It hans't been fixed in 2.0.

Hi,
had same problem some time ago.
In my case I had to increase the values/strength a lot, because the
final image resolution was much bigger than the resolution in LiveViewer.
And maybe therefore the effect was there, but too small or not visible in final resolution.
