I recently upgraded to Octane 2 for Lightwave and I haven't had a chance to try out its new features 'til now. I wanted to have a go with the displacement maps and Daylight/HDRi setup......I just got carried away with a strange idea!

Great use of the new features. I really like it. Love the vampire teeth.
The only thing that bothers me a little is that there is no DOF? I think that would help selling it even more, especially with the plants further back etc.
Good job!

Thanks Daniel, I agreed so I went back to it and added a few bits as the skeleton looked a bit clean when I saw it again this morning. Really like your showreel btw.

Love the new version! Much better with the new ground mesh. It really feels like there are still some ribs left under the dirt.
I also like the new grading, the glow on the head works well and the overall contrast feels nicer.
My last comment is, lose the white round border frame. I don't think you need it and it will have more impact without it. Maybe that is just taste though, up to you.
Great improvement and really nice work!

The Stake was a good idea, so I've added that and played a bit more with the depth. Thanks for the comments.
