Argos is personal work : https://vimeo.com/97415241

Cinema 4D / Octane Render / After Fx... i hope to find time to post and kind of Break Down video...

The Plugin from VIDEO COPILOT : HEAT helped me a lot to achieve the combustion effect of the Ribbon.. a great tool that i recommend.
Thanks to Kevin Gautraud who gave on Vimeo a great tips to make Foam in Octane via a Mix Material..

I'm on Mac OSX maverick with an 680 nvidia Mac edition...

if someone could help.. for the burning ribbon, i used the spline deformer, but it doesn't work directly with octane.. i had to make an Alembic export each time in order to make it turn right around the rope..

best

I feel like this is getting a bit lost here in the forum... Really solid work!
The ribbons are fantastic and I think the heat reflections on the metal are great.
Also the backgrounds, I love them. Is that a plate, 2D image or 3D? Great use of the DOF and particles.
There are a couple of things that I don't like that much. The gold shader and texture don't really do it for me. It doesn't look like a real metal.
Let's see more of this kind of stuff :)
