Please don't kill this topic!
I really want the standalone+3ds max plugin for both 2.0 version!(or 1.x version)
Some one want to sell his license! Please sell it to me(Sorry I can't bear the original price,it's too high to me)
Thank you so much
From what I understand, buying/selling an Octane license violates there terms when you purchase it. It seems to be a kind of grey area in some cases, but I don't know. Most likely you wont have any luck here.

Octane being priced priced low, and the student version staying free (including tech support for edu accounts), depends on new customers buying new versions of the software.
This is undone by backchannel swapping of older licenses - which also circumvents the intent and spirit of the many steep temporary and targeted discount windows we've offered to the community over the years (e.g. the free plug-in voucher for 3rd party plug-ins 2.0 upgrades now in effect, beta discounts, etc. )
If there is a sizable group that absolutely must have unrestricted license sharing, let us know, and we can come up with a pricing model that supports this. Otherwise, please keep in mind that the current EULA does not support this, for the reasons stated above. Yes, we know some users have tried to get around this, but if you care about Octane, please don't do that. We'd much rather work on offering meaningful discounts through normal sales channels than having to worry about enforcing this type of thing.
To that end, we are looking at different pricing models down the line, not just for render slaves, but for the Standalone as well, in order to fully support students who want 2.0+ as well as hobbyist users on a much tighter budget. How this all turns out depends on how well 2.0 does in terms of upgrades and new sales.
