I'm trying to export some animatios but:

ANIMATION ERROR
No render target selected
I must be blind !!!! Where do I select it ???

You may not have created one.
Right click and make a render target.
plug your alembic file into the geometry node.

Weird, may be a bug.

Did you try without the placement node? Don't know why, but that's the only difference between your setup and scenes I have been able to render the animation out of.

I started a new 2.0 project and all is fine now ....

maybe some bug while read old OCS..

The older Lua scripts didn't go as deep as the newer scripts do to find the render targets. You have set your scene up in the "old preview configuration", it might be better if you set it up on a regular scene.
